Ross Halfin Will Be Doing an Iron Maiden Book

The 1988 book was great. I'm looking forward to having another Maiden pics book.

Yep, I have it and it's really great. Now, many pics can be found on Ross website, but back then, it was amazing to see all these nice photographs of the band.

The title refers to Nicko always moaning during the photo sessions

What is interesting is that Ross said on his website that Rod was far too controlling and that he wouldn't like to work with him again on a book... Time passes, opinions change

Well, if Rod gave Ross free reign, it might be different.

Of course, Ross might work his ass off on a book, give it to Rod, who might go, "Oy, mate! This bloody thing isn't what I bloody wanted at all! So give me those bleedin' snips, oy! Just give'em 'ere!" and rearrange the entire book.

According to Ross Halfin: "The book will be a high level art book it won't come out until 2006".

blah blah blah. I'd be more intrested in a huge, fat book containing all artworks Maiden have used, by all artists, on big scale and without the fonts on them... We've been asking for sth like this for ages but, as always, Maiden show hust how detached they are from their fans...
