13 Years Later, Maiden Rips Up Iceland Again !

Finally, a new date has been announced by Maiden …and a quite unusual one for the band if you look at past tours ! Icelanders can thank both Maiden and Bruce, for it's possible that his constant trips in the country as a professional pilot influenced the choice.

It's only the second time a Maiden tour stops in the island, after a first show during the Fear of the Dark Tour on June 5, 1992 !

So, 13 years later, on June 7 2005, Iron Maiden will play the Egilshollin in Reykjavik as part of their Eddie Rips Up the World Tour.

RR, the promoter, adds that Eddie will rip up Iceland when the legendary Iron Maiden will be playing in Egilshollin arena next summer. This will be a full size concert and Iron Maiden will be bringing in the full show - an Eddie Monster and all the other item that make the Iron Maiden concerts such great shows.

Ticketsales will start March 6th. Online sales will be at Farfuglinn.is Further info on other points of sale will be published soon.
