Maiden Confirmed for Gods of Metal; Sao Paulo Show Moved
Iron Maiden are to be the main headliner at Italy's "Gods of Metal Festival" on Friday 27th June as part of their 'Somewhere Back In Time World Tour 2008'.The three day festival will be taking place at the Arena Parco Nord in Bologna with tickets going on sale on Thursday 29th November at 12.00 Midday. This will be the third time the band have headlined the festival, helping it grow to be Italy's premier Metal event.This will be the band's only Italian performance in 08.

In other news, now that the Brazilian football fixtures for early next year have been confirmed, the Promoter has been able to move the show to a larger venue in Sao Paulo.
The concert will now take place at the 42,000 capacity Palmeiras Stadium.
