Unauthorized Iron Maiden DVD Due This Month

Locomotive Records has set a January 30 North American release date for “The History of Fear”, an unauthorized biographical documentary DVD of Iron Maiden.

The DVD starts in the 1975 East London neighborhood where the band originated. After hitting the skids with local acts Gypsy’s Kiss and Smiler, bassist Steve Harris knew he had to take that next step and transcend his working-man existence. What he and his Maiden bandmates have accomplished in the years since is no less than staggering: 14 studio albums, four “best-of” compilations, nine live albums and four boxed sets — a mammoth 70 million records sold. Complete with interviews, behind-the-scenes footage, extensive discography and digital fan quiz, this is the Iron Maiden story.
