Bruce's artist school

on September 6, 2002 @ 11:35

The Norweigan web site Musikkavisen reported Iron Maiden's Bruce Dickinson has started a artistschool. We have a translation of the article by Atlas' Laughter:

"New artistschool

Now a new school will be started in Brighton. The school is founded by Bruce Dickinson of Iron Maiden. Many famous artists have put in support, and among them you'll find Ronan Keating.

This artistschool is a work similar to Paul McCartney's (LIPA). The goal is to bring forth new talent. A bunch of famous artists are to teach at this school, and among these are Martin McCarrack (Therapy), Mark Richardsson (Skunk Anansie) and Rob Harris (Jamiroquai).

Ronan Keating is one of those who will be picking out students for the school through an Audition in August. He's spoken these words concerning his involvment in the school: "There's so many talented young artists out there, and many of them need help to get into the spotlight". "
