13th July?!

on June 27, 2003 @ 21:36

Spanish website Rafabasa.com published a note claiming that they have listened the 11 tracks of Iron Maiden new album "Dance of Death", but they can't post on the web site a review neither a interview with Maiden members talking about the new record until 13th July. The note says that they were forced by the Record Company(EMI Spain) and the band's Management to sign a contract which obliges them to do not publish anything till that date. What's so special about 13th July?!

That's it - they just don't want any info about the album leaking out before they have done this Gimme Ed thingie. The same happened with BNW back in 2000
(I'm working for our local radiostation - it's quite a typical way of handling this stuff)
