Hi Mike,

How come you only played number of the beast (live from rock in rio and not
from donington) and Run To The Hills (live from rock in rio and not from
donington).

I thought you were going to play some of the set from the actual donington
performance. Will this be happening at any stage???????? On Radio 1
maybe??????

Chris

Hi Chris
Got to the bottom of this. The Maidens are preparing a release of their own
and didn't want any broadcasts by anyone from Donnington. Subsequently, we
didn't record any of it, that said it may make it onto the Maiden's own
release. Sorry for the disappointment.
Cheers
Mike"

Again ?! As much as I love having as much official material, a new live CD that soon would be too much according to me... But, on the other hand, they could release it with other hidden treasure (Steve recently said he had a lot of recordings) in a year or two, since the 3 years gap seem a reasonable time for the following album (gosh, I'm already talking about their 14th album while the 13th isn't out yet smile.gif )

Cheers

Where have you been man? wink.gif

Well, regarding this live recording I think is for B-sides for the new album, just like they did in Eddie Hunter tour for BNW's B-sides.

I guess a live album from this tour would be redundant! They'd better do one of the next album tour with new songs! lol.gif

Perhaps the singles will be something like:

CD 1

1)Wildest Dreams (Studio)
2)Children (Live in Brixton)
3)Run To The Hills (Live in Brixton)

CD 2

1)Wildest Dreams (Donny)
2)Revelations (Donny)
3)22 (Donny)

Something like that anyway. I hope so, another live album is not what we need right now.
