Run to the Hills version THREE

on October 25, 2003 @ 13:06

Apparently this is the cover of the THIRD revision of Mick Walls "Run to the Hills" official biography. Forgive me for being a miserable git but what exactly have the band got to write about since the last revision after Rock in Rio?

It's a better version than the previcious one.

How is it better? Three new pages about Dance of Death and a page and a half about returning to Donny?
Sorry but this is the album re-issues farce all over again. How can they expect people who own any of the other two versions to go and buy another? I know you can say "well nobody is forcing you to buy it" but thats not the point. Sanctuary know damn well that loads of fans will buy it for the third time because of the loyalty and desire to own EVERYTHING ever

As an owner of the first and second editions, I guess I'll wait 5 years to get the "after Maiden retire" version of the book.

Personally I've got the first revision (the one that came after BNW) and I won't buy a new one.

Yeah, it's same old same old really. The story is on 12 Wasted Years. The story is in unofficial biographies. I think most of us know it by now. I think I will buy one after Maiden retire though. It should have a few interesting insights in it. Why Steve Harris jacked it in and so on.

I think they should wait at least 3-5 years before they do a new revision.
