Virus Alert: Sobig.f
I don't normally do this since it's not Maiden related but after the events of last night/this morning I feel I have to.There is a new variant of an old virus going around named Sobig.f. This worm infects a computer and sends itself to all email addresses found on the computer. It also [b]fakes the sender address[/b] and therefore the person the email comes from is rarely the person who send the virus.
Since 11pm last night I have recieved [and killed] this virus around 200 times. I have also had a number of "returned" emails that allegedly I sent containing the virus. I would like to let everyone in the community know who may have recieved a virus from my email address that it was not from me. I do not have the virus as I have checked my system for it.
