IRVINGTON, N.J. – Fozzy (featuring WWE’s Chris Jericho), Obituary, and the New Wave of British Heavy Metal All Stars are among the bands added to this year’s March Metal Meltdown.
The two-day festival will take place at the Cricket Club in Irvington, N.J., on Friday and Saturday, March 12 and 13.
Friday will feature performances by: Symphony X, N.W.O.B.H.M. All Stars (featuring Al Atkins formerly of Judas Priest, Dennis Stratton formerly of Iron Maiden, and Jess Cox of Tygers of Pan Tang), Mantas, Seven Witches, Fozzy, Raven, Belladonna, Attacker, The Hixon, Wind Wraith, Stigmata, Thundercore, PainMuseum, Nasty Savage, Gothic Knights, Twilight Odyssey, Twisted Tower Dire, Teos, Laceration, Crucifier, The Apostacy, Merendine Atomiche, Winterfell, and Abazagoroth.
Saturday will feature: Testament, Obituary, Vital Remains (featuring Glen Benton), M.O.D., Trivium, Meth Sessions, Nuse, Macabre, Anal Blast, October 31, Killingsworth, Cirrhosis, Black Widow, Cobalt, Terminal Fix, Cold Summer Society, Kaos, Entombed, Catastrophic, Bloodstorm, Without End, 3 Inches of Blood, Madball, Bar Whore, Black Dahlia Murder, Premonition of War, The End, Arson, From a Second Story Window, Callico Systems, Shattered Realm, On Broken Wings, Reflux, Remember Never, and Psychotogen.
There will be autograph sessions with select bands. March Metal Meltdown will also feature the Vendorville marketplace.
March Metal Meltdown 6 is an all ages event. Alcohol will be served with proper ID. Re-entry is permitted and cameras are allowed.
