on February 24, 2004 @ 15:45

More information on the Tribuzy 'Execution' project is coming along. Here are the various participants on this album, expected to be released in June 2004:

Bruce Dickinson (IRON MAIDEN, BRUCE DICKINSON)
Roy Z (BRUCE DICKINSON, HALFORD)
Michael Kiske (SUPARED, ex-HELLOWEEN)
Roland Grapow (MASTERPLAN, ex-HELLOWEEN)
Magnus Rosén (HAMMERFALL)
Kiko Loureiro (ANGRA)
Mat Sinner (PRIMAL FEAR, SINNER)
Ralf Scheepers (PRIMAL FEAR, ex-GAMMA RAY)
Marco Barzo (THOTEN)

It seems that there is still one big artist which name cannot be revealed yet. Alex Dickson (ex-Bruce Dickinson band) is also rumored to take part to this project.

Not sure if Alex Dickson is in it, but I know fellow Skunkworks member Chris Dale is in it so maybe they're both on it, since they still work together.

Some pretty cool people on there!!! headbang.gif

Blabbermout reports the following:

BRUCE DICKINSON To Record EXECUTION Track Next Month - Feb. 28, 2004

IRON MAIDEN frontman Bruce Dickinson will record his parts for the new EXECUTION album next month in Los Angeles with producer/guitarist Roy Z (BRUCE DICKINSON, HALFORD, HELLOWEEN).

As previously reported, Dickinson confirmed his participation in the forthcoming solo project of former THOTEN frontman Renato Tribuzy after meeting the Brazilian singer at Bruce's hotel during MAIDEN's recent Brazilian tour (photo#1, photo#2). Other musicians set to appear on the CD include Roy Z, ex-HELLOWEEN singer Michael Kiske, ex-HELLOWEEN/current MASTERPLAN guitarist Roland Grapow, ANGRA guitarist Kiko Loureiro, and BRUCE DICKINSON bassist Chris Dale. A June 2004 release is expected.

Taken from the Tribuzy website (january news):
* BRUCE DICKINSON ON EXECUTION

Bruce Dickinson (Iron Maiden), confirmed his participation on Tribuzy's new album, EXECUTION, during the tour of the new Maiden's album "Dance Of Death" in Rio de Janeiro. Bruce and Tribuzy met up for breakfast at Iron Maiden's hotel, where they enjoyed a long conversation about various projects and gigs. Bruce will record his parts next month in Los Angeles (EUA), with the producer and guitarist Roy Z, that is also performing on EXECUTION. The album has already confirmed stars like Kiko Loureiro, Chris Dale, Michael Kiske and Rolland Grapow and is planned for release in mid-2004.

The fact was already somewhat announced here. I didn't want to include this piece of news as my previous mention of the Execution Project was enough. We'll keep you all posted.

September news from Tribuzy. Slightly related to Maiden since Sack Trick played with Bruce:

Renato Tribuzy was recently in London to promote his new album, EXECUTION. The musician was the special guest on Total Rock Radio (www.totalrock.com), one of the most respected rock radio programs in England, presented by Chris Dale (Sack Trick and Bruce Dickinson), the interview can be heard in the discography section at www.tribuzy.com!
Tribuzy also participated in the recording sessions of the live album by the British band Sack Trick, on the song Blue Ice Cream, originally recorded by Doogie White (Rainbow and Yngwie Malmsteen).

Cheers
