2005 Summer Tour DVD Reported by French Mag

on July 15, 2005 @ 20:40

The French edition of RockHard (Issue 46, July-August 2005) states that several shows of the European leg of the current tour have been recorded. Iron Maiden would be to release a DVD from the Eddie Rips Up The World tour.

As Maidenfans already reported, Bruce has stated that such a DVD was in the pipe in an earlier interview. Nicko also hinted at a work meeting about this in his latest diary.

Finally, strong rumors have it that Kevin Shirley was in Ullevi doing the live audio mix for the broadcasted gig as part of this future DVD plan.

I belive this was about a new drum-dvd from Nicko, not about a new Maiden DVD.

In this months Metal Hammer Bruce says:-

"from now on you should expect a live DVD and double album after every tour"

I'd prefer not see the Gothenburg show released as a DVD - firstly I've got the TV recording which I'm happy with but also I think the show lost a bit for it being mainly daylight throughout.
