JK's Bar is Not Up to Steve Harris Standards

on March 12, 2005 @ 17:03

A fun note was left by Ross Halfin on his latest diary:

Shooting Jamiroquai at Jay Kay's home. Never dealt with him before, should be interesting. A driver picks me up at 10:30 (he's meant to be at my house at 10), he has no clue where he's going... I must have a vendetta with drivers lately...

Much to my surprise, JK is easy, friendly and very down to earth. Enjoyed the shoot a lot. He has a pub called the Chequered Flag, not bad but not up to Steve Harris's standards...

On related news, Ross Halfin has found a full box of pictures of the Somewhere On Tour era. He will put them on his website soon. Maidenfans will keep you posted.

I know. Our goal is to report all news concerning Maiden. Especially when Maiden is not doing anything in particular (most dates have been announced, no DVD is expected until the end of the year, no new album before 2006) and the big news about Bruce has already been announced (only official confirmation pending, tracklist and artwork: that makes three -might even be one- until June).

We also know that the Blaze news aren't as popular (see the number of views of each Blaze headline and you will understand), but, still, it's Maiden-related as he was an important part of Maiden.

So, yes, sometimes we present news that aren't focused on what Maiden does at the moment.

And, in the end, the newsteam and the owners decide what's up here. biggrin.gif But it's nice to have feedback. Thanks.

Cheers
