Maiden Rips Up Mariskalrock.com Awards

At MariskalRock.com's and the Heavy Rock and Kerrang Spain magazines yearly readers poll of 2004, Iron Maiden managed to score quite impressively, despite having no album or tour during the year (excepting the brief North - and South America/Japan tour in January/February). Here are the categories featuring Maiden:

I would say we can be very very happy with these results. Those catgories should rathe get called "most famous" than "best". Because most people, including me, write down their faves and not the ones one thinks are the best technically etc..

So we should stop that bitching that Kirk isn't good enough. It just means that he is more famous than Dave. But does that matter to us?

Actually not, and besides I like Kirk Hammet and enjoyed the Metallica Live-Shows a lot.
