Voodoo Six Six Six

VOODOO SIX To Support IRON MAIDEN [Hot Flashes - 05.08.04 07:41:57]

VOODOO SIX, the new band put together by bassist Tony Newton (ex-DIRTY DEEDS) will be supporting IRON MAIDEN on September 2nd at The London Hammersmith Apollo.

This is a benefit concert, all proceeds will go to ex-Maiden drummer Clive Burr who has MS. More details can be found on www.voodoosix.com and www.ironmaiden.com

The debut album from Voodoo Six will be released later this year. Tony is also currently mixing songs for Iron Maiden for their single which will be released to coincide with the Reading/Leeds festivals.

Other Maiden related news is that Voodoo Six guitarist Richie Faulkner is currently in Miami recording songs with Steve Harris's daughter (http://www.monstroentertainment.com/lauren.php).

Tony Newton has been mixing the live tracks from the Iceland 2005 Maiden show that will appear on the different formats of "The trooper" single.
