i must disagree with maracana. remember rock in rio. on the other side I still think its a rumour inspired by 2 previous tours. universal amp is just too small for maiden, they usually played irvine meadows amp. those 2 gigs on DOD tour in spring 2004 they did there because of extensive summer tour 2003 in US I think.

This dates seem to be bullshit, because Maracana Stadium in Rio de Janeiro is just too big for Maiden (it was the biggest football stadium in the world untill a few years ago). So it is really not accurate. Plus, Sao Paulo gigs on South America are ALWAYS on Saturday, because it´s the strongest market on the continent. On the other side, january/february IS summer in Latin America.

I sure hope Maiden comes to the US. Everytime I saw them in Albuquerque they sold the place out.

I've been a fan since 'Live After Death' came out and I still never seen Maiden live!!!!? ?? It just never happened. Strange world I guess. I am stoked to see them this time in 2007. FINALLY! At least I'm not going to see IM for the first time with Blaze singing Bruce songs!
