According to Download Festival web site, Iron Maiden played to 45,000 rabid fans as the sun went down on day one of Download – with nearly half the crowd sporting classic Maiden t-shirts.Festival-goers are allowed to download free performances by bands appearing at the festival from the internet. They've reported that festival-goers can get live songs by entering in their code in Downloads section and installing Wippit software.
