NANCY moves to a larger venue
Maiden's concert at the Zenith in Nancy on Nov 29 has been moved to the Galaxie in Amneville nr Metz on Dec 18.The promoters Garance comment - 'The show in the 5800 capacity Zenith in Nancy sold out very quickly and there is still much demand for tickets in the area. To appease the many people who wish to see the show we have therefore moved it up to the 11,000 cap Galaxie in Amneville. This has easy transport to and from Nancy and many ticket holders will be from this area. This hall was not available on the original schedule and the switch became possible when the band had to reschedule the end of their Dance of Death European Tour to replace shows in Wroclaw, Poland, and Helsinki, Finland, which they were forced to reschedule when Bruce Dickinson caught a flu virus and was unable to perform for a few days. Bruce is now back to full fitness. Playing the bigger hall also guarentees the band can use their full production. All tickets for Nancy are valid for Amneville of course. We hope that fans are not inconvenienced and that they understand it is great for more French fans to see the new show'
Says Maiden manager Rod Smallwood - 'Garance were keen for us to play a bigger venue when tickets sold out quickly for Nancy so we were pleased to accommodate them with the rescheduling of the dates in December. Besides being able to play to more fans in France it also ensured we were able to replace the shows in Helsinki and Wroclaw. Sorry about the short delay whilst details were sorted out but now we are looking forward to a big show there !!!'
