PRESS RELEASE Date 1/4/03 Source: IronMaiden.com

Iron Maiden today confirmed the title of their upcoming studio album as "Valley of the Lost". The album is set to feature 10 tracks of classic heavy metal. The full tracklisting is

  1. Drifting
  2. Valley of the Lost
  3. Day by Day
  4. Nothing at All
  5. Back from the Dead
  6. Losing my Senses
  7. Fire
  8. Saved
  9. Believe me
  10. Wasted

The album is a conceptual album with a dark but heavy theme. Steve Harris told us, "We wanted to get back to our roots and do a really heavy album. The album is quite dark like X Factor but heavy like Powerslave. I think the fans will love it". Maiden also confirmed this is likely to be their last album for a while, "We'd love to go on playing forever but the demands of a hectic tour schedule are too much at our age. I'm pretty sure this will be our last tour but we'll get to the end and see what happens." said Harris. The "Tour of the Lost" will begin in France on the 26th May and will continue until around December/January with all the major worldwide festivals on the way. For the full story, click here

yep absolutely right!!

#9917, May 13, 2003 @ 17:37

Real World said:

I mean why would you need THREE technical guitarists anyway? Sometimes a bit of guitar widdling at lightning speed is all you need
