New Iron Maiden Tributes

on October 15, 2003 @ 07:50

CMH Records has released two cool Iron Maiden tribute CDs. One is a String Quartet and the other is a Metal tribute:

String Tribute: So out of the vault comes The String Quartet Tribute to Iron Maiden a haunting tribute Iron Maiden. Featuring one of the world's most innovative and exciting string quartets playing some of Iron Maiden's most devoured songs ("Two Minutes to Midnight," "The Trooper," "Run To The Hills"), this one will be guaranteed to please everyone under heaven... and hell, for that matter.

Metal Tribute: Iron Maiden was at the front of the British Metal scene in the early 80s, developing metal as an intelligent art form with their combination of raw punk and traditional elements of headbanging. Paying the ultimate homage to one of Heavy Metal's greatest bands, Dwell Records presents two volumes of penetrating riffs and apocalyptic lyrics performed by seasoned warriors of today's Metal underground. The sound of Iron Maiden will forever be etched in stone with A CALL TO IRONS, Volumes 1 and 2!

This is old news. I've already reported the String Quartet CD on the news page and that A Call to Irons Vol I & II is kinda old, too. And I'm talking about this double disc not the previous single CDs

NO problem, it's your site man I'm just saying... Anyway, about the String Tribute, I've posted the same link, so obviously it's official. And the A CALL TO IRONS double disc, i think the first time I saw something about it it was 2000 or 2001. This could be a reissue maybe.

Well, I didn't know about the strings album coming out. That should be very interesting. I have a Pink Floyd strings album and I loved it.
