Iron Maiden have won the BBC's album of the year award. This was posted on their website:

The winner of the Rock & Alt Album of the Year for 2003 is Iron Maiden with their incredible 'Dance Of Death' album. They received 70% of all the votes cast. The result is listed in full below. Let us know your comments on the result!
