on May 18, 2004 @ 16:54

BLAZE BAYLEY TO PERFORM NEVER PLAYED BEFORE MAIDEN SONG, AND MORE

After the big success with Timo Kotipelto, Maiden tribute band THE CLAIRVOYANTS will lead the second leg of the Flash and Metal Shock magazines Anniverrsary Party.

This time, very special guest of the event, will be Blaze Bayley. He will jam with THE CLAIRVOAYANTS on the next show on May 29th at Indians Sallon in Bresso (Milano)

As always THE CLAIRVOYANTS will open the show with tons of classic Maiden tunes and Blaze will join on stage in the second half of the show.

Blaze will sing many songs from his Maiden-era, some classic tunes and some material from his solo career.

And, as a very special gift for all the fans, he will sing with the band a Maiden song that has never been performed live by either Maiden or Blaze!
On www.theclairvoyants.com you can vote to choose which one would you like the band to perform.
The Flash and Metal Shock stand will be there with tons of free gadgets for everyone!

And dont forget that the same day, Blaze Bayley will celebrate his birthday too!!

Choices are on their website
Como Estais Amigos was played on the Silicon Messiah or TD tour though

I'm guessing something off Powerslave with be played. Preferably Flash of the Blade, or The Duelist.

The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner would be nice, though.

Choices are between 'Strange World', 'Still Life', 'Mother Russia', '2AM' and 'Como Estais Amigos'...

I would love 2AM, but hearing Blaze singing 'Strange World' is just too appealing... I hope this one wins !

Cheers

Strange World, I agree, Mr. The Saint.

Yeah Strange World would definately be the best of those. But for Devil's sake, please don't pick Still Life. One of Maiden's very best but I can't imagine Blaze singing it in a good way.

That´s great !

However, Still Life WAS played on the World PieceTour.

Something from the powerslave ones or maybe something from the SIT would be nice. Deja vu would be fucking great !!! Or maybe ATG ( luxhello[1].gif eek2.gif bowdown.gif

But I think that for Blaze´s Voice, Strange World is one of the best choices. headbang.gif

Strange World is such a boring song though

It would be better for Blaze to stick to his own Maiden songs. I can't imagine him singing 'Flash of the blade'...
