Nicko McBrain, and Italian Iron Maiden cover band Athenora performed live in Athens, Greece (on November 19th) as part of a few "special" appearances of McBrain and his Italian friends together. The songs performed were all Iron Maiden songs.

Among the songs Nicko McBrain and Athenora covered were (in not the exact order performed) "Murders In The Rue Morgue" (first song), "Wrathchild", "Heaven Can Wait", "2 Minutes To Midnight", "Blood Brothers", "The Number Of The Beast", "Hallowed Be Thy Name", "Fear Of The Dark", "Brave New World" and "Iron Maiden" (closing track).

I was the guy who "asked who narrates NOB", actually, I asked who narrates on Rime and Alexander, since we all know who narrates on NOB... Nicko started mumbling sth about McGoohan, then he mumbled the tune to Alexander the Great, he obviously didn't know... so he pointed at me and shouted... Who knows?!! It could Have been You! I think I'll remember that moment for the rest of my life lambada.gif

and that stupid reporter says I asked about NOB... rolleyes.gif mad.gif rolleyes.gif

I was there too

Nicko was FANTASTIC....with his humor and a lot of talking....it was good for Maiden Fans ONLY!!!!
he even trade one of his kit's cymbals with a fan from the croud.....

Anthenora played well ,but the singer was terrible!!!!

anyway....it was a kind of Maiden dose for as because we didn't see Iron Maiden live for the Dance of death tour...
and , as Nicko said, they will be invited to Rockwave Festival on summer!!!!

UP THE IRONS NICKO!!!!!
