Maiden Continues to Dominate Metal Awards

In this month's issue of Terrorizer, an extreme (!) metal magazine, Maiden cleaned up at the 2003 awards again:

Best Band/Artist: Iron Maiden Best Live Act: Iron Maiden Best Cover Art: Dance of Death (along with Opeth's Damnation) Best Vocalist: Bruce Dickinson

Bruce Dickinson is 3rd 'Personality Of The Year' along with George Walker Bush (!). Steve Harris is 8th 'Best Musician' along with Rob Flynn of Machine Head and Nick Barker of Dimmu Borgir. The band is 5th 'Biggest Musical Event'. Finally, 'Dance of Death' is 5th 'Best Album', ranking after some, as could be expected, extreme metal bands.

After almost 27 years of existance, Maiden are still 'kin kicking ass all around the world!!. That's what I call a successful Heavy Metal band that is in activity all the time, recording new albums and touring all around the world.
