More Little Incidents ...In Japan This Time
According to various reports, Bruce seemed in pain again during the Tokyo show, on 02/08. After 'Paschendale', the band paused to let Bruce's left leg rest a little and while the show finally went to the end, Bruce was moving very slowly from there. It could have been a sequel to the damage he got when he slipped on whipped-cream in LA a week ago.
On a lighter side, as it was the closing show of the DOD Tour, a lot a funny moments happened, as, for instance, when Janick got chased by crews during 'Run To The Hills'. The Saitama gig was, according to Bruce, their biggest ever in Japan (16000+) and they clearly had a great time playing there, partially for Japan acknowledged the band very early in their career.
To add to this bootleg moments, let's add that at the Osaka show the previous night, Nicko's bass drum got broken during 'The Trooper' and while it was replaced, Bruce and Nicko started to perform 'William Tell' with Bruce taping on his cheeks ! Bruce also changed the 'Fear Of The Dark' lyrics to make fun of Nicko's nose.
To close on these japanese moments, check this link to see the special DOD T-shirt printed for Japan.

Let's just hope they got it on tape.
I saw Iron MAiden live in Dortmund and there Bruce said that we are we audience that can be seen on their DVD and that Maiden will continue to record songs and go on tour.....
Quotation : "We next time we will see , will be in Germany *great applaus* , ON TOUR *greater applaus*"
Rod can be a prick, can't he? I would have loved to get a special T-shirt in Spain!!!
He should have been painting them since 2000!!
He's already committed with the Neighbor of The Beast fanzine...

He was probably thinking that they wouldn't sell well enough...
He also draw a 'Don Quixotte' Eddie for Spain, but Rod Smallwood refused to release it. Hope we might see it someday.

Thanks for the information, Saint!
I think he also did the special Bercy shirt for DOD gig...
BTW - do you have a pic of this Spanish Eddie?
Well... They're not that lucky - they didn't get Maiden on Ed Hunter and Give Me Ed tours.
It seems that's what matters most to Rod... Anyway, he has always been a control freak.
