Two Different NML EP Releases ?
It appears that some online CD shops are listing two 'No More Lies' EP at a different price (HMV for instance).Judging from the description below, it could be true:
"Fantastic new Limited Edition maxi single from the Maiden - presented in a plush silver printed box, 'No More Lies' features the title track, a sprawling 7-minute epic, as well as two new and exclusive mixes of 'Journeyman' and 'Paschendale'. The maxi single is finished off by the excellent live video for 'No More Lies' and a brand new hidden track!
Also included in the set for all of you Irons fanatics is an exclusive
wristband and 12-page colour booklet. All in all an essential set for any fan, Maiden come up with the goods yet again."
It states: "a plush silver printed box" ? The box officially presented isn't silver...

Any sources, mate? The Maiden BB?
HMV directly and various posts on the main site. I'm rarely posting info coming from the official BB as many posters just invent things, but this one seemed interesting. Still, only a rumor.
Cheers
Personally I think that the Maiden BB is a good source for news, as long as you make sure that the posts have an acceptible source.
I agree totally.
An independant and verifiable source is needed. For this item, it's not very clear if the whole thing is a typo (the EP packaging we saw isn't the finalized one) or if HMV has made a mistake.

Sounds interesting! Though it also sounds like Rod's gona and turned a good idea into another way to rip off the fans if they are relasing two different versions in a different box
Hey just a quick question!
...Anyone knows in which countries will the EP be released???
I want it!!!...
From Iron Maiden's website:
Packaged in a silver and red printed box with free Woven Jacquard IRON MAIDEN wristband and 12 page colour booklet the EP celebrates what has been a remarkable year since the band completed recording ‘Dance Of Death’.

Cough... cough... cough...
Note to self: check the website and not just my memory...
Anyway, it still doesn't explain the two versions available at HMV for two different price
Cheers

I've seen it and I still don't know what to expect. EMI Spain just lists one version.

It might be the LP-single that costs more .
yeh i think it would be the LP songle that cost more
that would be weel kool to have it on vinyl
I pre ordered both.
Whatever it is will be cool.
SOunds to me like there is a ltd edition with all the stuff like sweatband and one plain "single" like edition with just the CD
Looks a damn good price though I was expecting much more expensive than that!
they should have put a definitave listen with nicko on it that would be the greatest thing ever
Interesting theory is that HMV priced the EP as a single and when they realized that the thing was not only limited (which often doesn't mean much nowadays) but was specially packaged and had a gift, they decided to add a new entry with a new and higher price, only to cancel their first and formost entry later.
Cheers
The "silver print" is simply the funny several-pointed star thingy, and there is apparently only one edition of this thing (Limited, my arse! You can find it everywhere, and not just in selected places as stated on the official site! Just another commercial scam!).
Just have a look at my review of the EP if you care.
No, not everywhere, not in Sweden!
Anyway, I agree with you that the EP is just a nice little extension of your collection. There's no point in buying it for the music itself.
I got it in sweden, my record dealer imported it for me. . but then i searched for it in Belgium where i am now, but it's sold out, but they will get another stock soon.
