B L A Z E Line-Up and New Album/DVD News

on August 13, 2005 @ 19:42

It seems we've been slow on B L A Z E news lately with the Maiden tour going on and everything but things are moving in the B L A Z E camp and here's are the latest news:

Planetblaze forum post by Luca Princiotta:

Hi everyone!!!

I read a lot in these days about your feelings, your doubts and your hope
about what it’s gonna happen in the next months.
I can understand you because I’m a fan, too, and I can remeber when one of
my favorit band changed some members or made a bad album!!!everything looks
like sad!!!
But there’s another point of view: Mine and that of the other guys I’m
working with!!!
We are definitely proud and happy to be in the B L A Z E!!! When I saw there
was a possibility to join in the band I jumped more than I do on stage!!!

Now I want to update you. This is the least I can do.
Me and Oli are 100% in the band, and an announcement regarding the bass
player and drummer will made soon. As I’ve already said, me, Oli and Blaze are
composing new songs. There are 14 songs so far.
9 of these are finished. We need to rehearse them with the whole band and
add some arrangements. Then we will be able to choose some of them to put in
the next DVD. Sound seems a bit different because all last line up left, but
not worse at all!!! Blaze feels really really confidence…. blaze.gif
I don’t wanna disclose other things but…
Fasten your seat belts… B L A Z E is coming back!!!!

Luca

Followed by an update from our sister network Blazefans.com:

News has surfaced that B L A Z E's original plan of releasing their new studio album with the live DVD recording of the Big Bash as a bonus disk has changed. According to a post by Oli on the official forums, the plan now if to release "a DVD around spring 2006" with the studio album to follow "much later in the year". This will doubtless come as a big dissapointement to many fans who were hoping to hear both before the end of 2005. While it wasn't made clear, we are assuming that the DVD Oli refers to is the JB Dudley gig from last Christmas though that could also have changed in the wake of a new lineup.

I read this on the BB the other day.
Apparantly the new bassist is Christian Ammann according to Oliver rumors are that the new drummer is Daniel Schild. They played with B L A Z E earlier in the year.
