Bruce Dickinson Album No 49 in UK Midweeks

on May 26, 2005 @ 17:26

The latest Bruce Dickinson album entitled 'Tyranny of Souls' is charting at 49 on the United Kingdom Midweek albums chartlist.

Definitive numbers will be announced this Sunday. Maidenfans.com will also try to get the exact sales number of record sold, even if this kind of number is often kept secret by the recording industry. Stay tuned.

Here are some past chart data of the Bruce solo albums:

'Tattoed Millionaire' (1990): UK 14, Sweden 33, Finland 14
'Balls to Picasso' (1994): UK 21, Finland 13
'Skunkworks' (1996): UK 41, Finland 14
'Accident of Birth' (1997): UK 53, Sweden 46, Finland 13
'The Chemical Wedding' (1998): UK 55, Germany 41, Sweden 31, Finland 22
'Best of Bruce Dickinson' (2001): Finland 6

It is however important to note that a chart place doesn't indicate the number of albums sold, as an album with important sales could be lower in the charts on heavy sales weeks and an album with poor sales could reach a higher position if the week doesn't see to many records sold.
'Tattoed Millionaire' sold 1'500'000 copies worldwide and is the best-selling Bruce Dickinson album.
