Bruce Dickinson: re-issues with tons of bonus material

Bruce Dickinson is for many the face of British heavy metal. As a rock vocalist, he has scaled the heights of global commercial success and is truly a member of the international metal elite. Bruce cut his teeth in a succession of school bands before fronting Samson. Iron Maiden founder and bass guitarist Steve Harris was impressed with Bruce’s voice and when former vocalist Paul Dianno left, Dickinson was the obvious replacement.
Maiden with Dickinson enjoyed immense success, touring the world playing to massive audiences and enjoying incredible chart success, including 3 UK No 1 albums and a number one single with the Dickinson penned "Bring Your Daughter....To The Slaughter’".
Bruce released his first ever solo album "Tattooed Millionaire" in 1990, critically acclaimed, it reached no 14 in the UK charts. After a short break in which he toured with Iron Maiden, Dickinson resumed his solo career to further acclaim resulting in 1994’s "Balls To Picasso" (UK No 21), 1995’s "Alive In Studio A", 1996’s "Skunkworks", 1997’s "Accident Of Birth", 1998’s "The Chemical Wedding" and 1999’s "Scream For Me Brazil".
All of which are released here with extra bonus material. Since re-joining Maiden in the late 90s, the band has gone on to play to bigger audiences, combining new and old fans alike and this year the band return to headline the Reading festival.
Bruce has been broadcasting for 3 years and has just completed a series for The Discovery Channel. He is also a published author, a trained pilot and a gifted fencer.

Very cool, I wonder how much these will cost. The Chemical Wedding costs about forty five for the import, which comes with Return Of The King, hopefully we can get it without paying that extra cash. The double albums worry me however, I live in Canada, and in this town, double albums are almost always around thirty five to fourty dollars, I really don't want to pay that much for an album, even if it is Bruce.

I Love Bruce's solo music as much as anyone. I already own all of his previously released material. I will definitely purchace "Tyranny Of Souls", but I dont have the money to go out and buy 5 or 6 new double CDs. I wish he would have done something like "Eddie's Archives", and included the B-sides and live material in a set. "Bruce's Archives" would have been great. Does anyone else agree or do you plan on buying all of the new material?

This has to be the best news since Bruce said he was releasing a new album. Quality...

Alot of the Sanctuary releases are available for very cheap at BMG Music Club
because BMG and Sanctuary are one big happy family. So, chances are very good that these Dickinson reissues will be available through BMG. Their cds are usually about $8 apiece with shipping. I picked up the Maiden double album "Rock in Rio" for about $6. It's in their "bargain bin" right now for about $3.99 + shipping.

Basically yes, we don't know No press release from Sanctuary mention a remastering. We might have to wait until the day of release to see for ourselves.

Unless they're limited editions I'm not going to replace my old copies when they're more than 12 Euro.

Regular CDs where I live are about 20 euros so I won't be getting all of those, not straight away in any case. I just finished buying my first set of copies this January so they won't be high priority, except for Balls to Picasso and Skunkworks which both look extremely interesting.

First of all I'll get Tyranny of Souls though.

I see that I can get all of them for 10 euro. I'll probably buy them all at once. I'd have been neat though when you could buy a nice boxset for it.
