Bruce Talks about Upcoming Tours
In today's Göteborgs-Posten (a swedish newspaper), there's an article about Maiden where Bruce specifies:".. Our young fans have never heard us played these song and about five, six years ago we decided it would be cool to make a tour with old songs exclusively. To celebrate our past and to bring it to an end. It will be the first and the last time some of these songs will be played. On the next tour we will have a new album and on the next again we will concentrate on the four other albums released in the 80's, says Bruce Dickinson...."

This interview by the swedish newspaper was based on a radio interview made with Bruce, Adrian, Steve and Dave last year. The radio interview was broadcast yesterday in Sweden and there, Bruce talked about even more tours!

but there are only three more studioalbums left from the eighties, does he count LAD? It has no new songs.
I think the author of the interview got it wrong, I think Bruce said something like "...the next four albums...." when he was interviewed for the radio. The bloke in the newspaper perhaps didn't know that No Prayer for... is from 1990 
Well, technically, the 90s started... in 1991! 
So that could be when "Alexander the Great" finally makes it to the live stage.
That´ll be wonderfull!

Oh great. I think it says "the latter four 80s albums". Which would mean we could hear Back in the Village, Stranger, Infinite Dreams or Hooks In You. My soul would be very pleased indeed.

A few hits, but not any classics?
What about Run to the Hills, TNOB, The Trooper.....so on..
Interesting, especially when you think that "only" three (not four) other (studio) albums were released in the 80's, as people say here.
Will this next tour contain No Prayer material or not??
Hopefully not, because then there would be less space for ROTAM, SSOASS and ATG.
Uh well, he made more mistakes about Maiden's past recently.
He said during the Rock am Ring concert that it was the fifth concert of the tour. It was the 4th.
