Current Tour is Recorded, Bruce DVD, Bruce Tour !
In its latest of June 2005 (issue #112) the French magazine Hard & Heavy has published an interview with Bruce Dickinson:The singer gave some details on the process of writing and recording his new album, 'Tyranny of Souls', as well as some information about the summer tour of Iron Maiden.
The most significant inputs are:
- Bruce might do solo live performances in festivals during the 2006 summer.
- Bruce and Roy Z have the common project of recording a cover album. Bruce says he knows exactly which covers he wants to record, but nothing is recorded yet.
- Bruce originally wanted to release his DVD before the new solo record but changed his mind. He doesn’t confirm if he will eventually release the DVD in fall 2005 (the date originally planned for the solo CD).
- Bruce says that different Iron Maiden shows of the current summer tour will be recorded ! The group will eventualy release a DVD featuring this material, although he doesn’t give any date…
Here's the cover of the magazine:
You can also read what Nicko had to say about the future.

I'm agree with you but it'S what the fans wants. Every one of us already have bunch of bootleg with average quality so where is the problem!! I hope that they will record the Quebec city gig, this one will be super awesome!
by far everyone has bootlegs, or likes bootlegs in that case....
think they are exploiting we fans who buy everything , but can't say no to them
I have got some bootlegs, but I never watch them...The quality is too bad,it is better to watch RIR once again :D
Cheers for that

I understand those who say they are milking the fans in some ways, but a live isn't a best of. Fans are screaming for live renditions of every single show, so Maiden is also listening to them. Plus Maiden won't be there for eternity, so in a few years' time, we might be happy to have these DVDs to remember what Maiden was live.
Cheers
Keep in mind that every setlist since Bruce came back (Except Ed Huntour, which I think was excluded for a reason) has had a pretty different setlist. You'll never see Dream of Mirrors or Wildest Dreams played live again, guys. Every DVD Maiden releases at this point will be cataloging, mostly, a different set of songs with this, their ultimate lineup.
I agree.
They must make live DVD's. Bootlegs are crappy!

I'm afraid that this cannot be discussed here. Remember the forum rules...
Is it allowed to send such information in a PM then?
As long as you don't rip off the band publicly, what you do privately is your own business.
I'll keep it private then...
Yes, but it's a bootleg.
Maiden are not against them.
Maiden are not against them.

We know that, but we want to be cautious. You can do it privately, it's not our business.
