Mastodon to Support Maiden on European Dates ?

According to a small article in the latest Kerrang (UK edition), Mastodon might be supporting Maiden on their forthcoming european tour.

Brann Dailor, Mastodon's drummer, said that they were invited to support the European Stadium Tour.

It is unclear how Mastodon would be fit to all the Maiden's dates as many other bands were already officially announced as openers (Within Temptation, DragonForce, Dream Theater,...). They might open on some selected dates or appear on the festivals Maiden is playing.

They will also play in France, with Slayer too : Clermont-Ferrand, 1st June .
