Nicko at the UK Metal Hammer Awards

Even if Maiden did not win any prize in this year's Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards, Nicko was invited to the show that took place at the Astoria in London on June 13.

Attached is a picture of him in the red carpet press room.

Winners on the night were:

You might have a chance to catch a glimpse of Nicko by watching the Awards on July 6 on ITV1 in the UK.

That's so true. How many albums do they have and how many years they have made music? Im not sure, but didn't they start in the early 90´s? That surely should have something to say against the newcomer title.

But with the term "newcomer" I do believe they mean new to the mainstream part of the music-industry, not newcomers as a band as very few bands become popular when they have just started playing together. (With exceptions of certain popular over night pop-wannabe-punk bands like Good Charlotte, Busted etc.)
