Nicko Jams Yet Another Charity
On January 22, Nicko joined the Fret Fest, which directly benefits the 'Kids Rock Free' Program, part of the Fender Center for the Performing Arts Free Educational Program (check FenderMuseum.com).He jammed with Brad Gillis, Bobby Kimball and many more.
Tony Franklin (Whitesnake) says this on his website:
I played at Fret Fest with Pat Travers at Loffler's in Anaheim. We were also joined onstage by Nico McBrain (Iron Maiden's drummer - and fellow Brit!), Brad Gillis (Nightranger), and Alex Ligertwood (Santana). We rocked the house with some classic Pat Travers tunes, "Boom Boom, Out Go The Lights", "Snorting Whiskey", and "I Don't Care" from the recent Travers and Appice album, as well as some new takes on some classic Blues tunes. Alex Ligertwood sang "Black Magic Woman".
