Ozzy Says He Wanted Nothing to Do with Ozzfest Sabotage

on November 4, 2005 @ 20:10

"I had absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with what went down, because I do not condone any of that kind of crap," he said. "Even though the singer was saying bad things, so I heard, I never heard it 'cause I'd never went and seen them. But that very night, the bass player (Steve Harris) comes into my dressing room and said to me, 'I'd like to apologize for our singer.' I was absolutely confused what this guy was on about."

While greenlighting the news, I was about to add some comments, but I'd rather let this all lie down.

...lie down ? Like Ozzy, a zombie cancelling show after show. Sorry for the offense. He used to be a great frontman.

Cheers

who the fuck is ozzy to talk about Steve referring as "the bass player"! Ozzy lives in a unreal world where he think that the only heavy metal band is Blck Sabb.!! MAIDEN IS THE BEST METAL BAND EVER!

Funny how Ozzy has waited this long after the incident to speak out. He should have given his wife a good talking to that night. Behaviour like that displays nothing but childishness and pure disrespect for the 45000 people in the audience, and then our little joker Sharon has the nerve to say that Bruce has disrespected Ozzfest. I'd certainly be interested to hear what was said by Bruce, but whatever it was, the fans didn't deserve to suffer like that, and at the end of the day, it's Osbourne who's walked off with the money in her hands. It makes my blood boil. I just wish Ozzy had stepped in and done something about it on the night rather than two and a half months later. What does anybody else reckon?
