Rock Am Ring Extracts on German TV

on May 30, 2005 @ 18:20

The forthcoming Rock Am Ring festival will see some its highlights broadcasted on German television after the show in June. Iron Maiden will have an undetermined time on these shows.

All shows will be on WDR Television.

On June 11 and 12, there will a 2-part special show about the 20 years of Rock Am Ring, including extracts from the 2005 festival. Both will start at midnight.

On June 13, 20, 27 and July 4 and 11, a one hour highlight of Rock Am Ring 2005 will be repeated. All show begin at 0100 (1 AM).

Additionally, the show will be webcast live in Real Media format, just as it was when they played there two years ago, at www.rockpalast.de/livestream

Update:
Bad news: the sister festival, Rock Im Park, won't be broadcast, since the German TV channel Bayern3 just broke its collaboration with the Marek Lieberberg Agency !

Yes, the website shows you need Real Player to stream that concert, and it will start at 4.10pm Brazilian Standard Time on Saturday afternoon. That'll leave you plenty of time to go out in the evening : )

I think that we sould wait until Saturday or at least Friday. I remember when I streamed Rock am Ring two years ago for the Give Me Ed... Till I´m Dead tour. It was in the middle of the week and I could connect to the site only around one hour before the star of the show.... Well, keep trying and good stream for you (as well as for me biggrin.gif)
