According to various sources, it seem that EMI can't meet the deadline for the 'Death on the Road' DVD international release date and some countries have already been warned of the delay. Some national distributors might decide to push the double CD and even The Trooper single at a later date for simultaneous releases.

It seems the USA will get both the DVD and CD for the end of September, while Austria and Finland, for instance, don't have any release target for the DVD yet. The Trooper release date depends on the will of each national distributor.

Iron Maiden.com, on their side, are announcing the international release of 'The Trooper' for August 15, even if this is more marketing than reality:

09/08/2005 THE TROOPER SINGLE IS RELEASED NEXT MONDAY 15th AUGUST!

Recorded live on their Dance Of Death Tour, The Trooper will be available in three striking formats, with previously unavailable tracks (see here for details).

The 12' picture disc in die cut sleeve and 7' blue vinyl with double sided poster are both strictly LIMITED EDITION, but available worldwide through our friends at What Records whilst stocks
last.

Stay tuned for some exciting download news!

Edited the text. It seems that EMI can't meet the DVD deadline for "technical reasons". It seems more and more likely that the release will be pushed back, at least in some countries.

USA will get bot the DVD and the CD on September 27th according to the latest news. Austria doesn't have a DVD release target yet.

Will let you know if I know more.

Cheers

Polish EMI says the band is still working on the content of the DVD and it'll be a 3 disc release. The Trooper single and Death On The Road CD/LP will be out as planned. New date for the DVD is not known yet.

Many source are confirming this will be a 3-disc release (I think it was mentionned in one of our earlier news).

Some online shopping websites are still displaying the DVD release as August 29, but it looks more and more doubtful that any country will get anything on that date smile.gif

Cheers
