GNR's "Welcome to the Jungle" is #2? That takes away all the credibility from this chart! That band and all it's songs are a disgrace to rock music itself. Wow!
I've seen worst.....what about Kirk Hammet #11 guitarist of all time, Kurt Combain #12, when Mark -lost fingers- Knopfler is ranked #27, and Ritchie Blackmore #55 (!!!) [rolling -mainstream- stone magazine] ....forget about these crap !! total shit these kind of things, whether I agree or not, I know that suck terribly ___no5
you´re just a poor number ___no5 but you´re right. most influential "metal" song is maiden´s HBTN. adrian smith is the best guitar player. but who´s that f*****g kurt combine?
That list is total trash. Judas Priest have about a million better songs then "You've Got ANother Thing Coming". They should something like Exciter, Dissident Aggressor, Victim of Changes, or if the song needs a video they could at least have Painkiller. The choice of Maiden songs was awful too, they should really have Hallowed. And Welcome to the Jungle being one spot ahead of Master of Puppepts is total Blasphemy.
this is silly.I cant believe kiss, guns n' roses and especially ac/dc even came close or even beat Iron Maiden!
MetalHead says:
ac/dc OK!!
kiss OK!!!
priest OK!!
Metallica Ok!!
GNR's ??????????????
What the fuck!!!!!
is not a bad band, but they are not metal!
Maiden is No.1!!!
Even as a Guns N' Roses fan, I must say that they are clearly NOT a heavy metal band. Nor is KISS or even AC/DC. It is unfortunate that they cannot discern heavy metal from hard rock.
Still... the choices are completely horrible. Iron Maiden has way better songs than "The Number of the Beast" such as "Hallowed Be Thy Name", "2 Minutes to Midnight" or even "Fear of the Dark".
Judas Priest was way underrated as well.
best maiden song : rime, best metallica : ktulu (ha ha anyway I don't like their kiddish lyrics -of before black era, as I don't like their music in post black ear, hey guys who can' t mix the nice elements of your eras to make an album at last ?) where is dante's inferno of iced earth in top 10? where is achilles of manowar ? should exist both of them___no5
I also heard just recently that Bruce made it in the 40 Worst Metal Moments or something like that on VH1. Apparently, according to them he isn't metal, cause he fences and writes books.
So hey... You can't possible take this list seriously either.
as you said: how the fuck can gnr beat Maiden...??? Its a joke / the slave
