Maiden to play South America in January

Rock & Pop Radio confirmed today on their morning news that Maiden will play in Argentina & Brazil in January 2007.

The band will play at least 2 shows, 1 in Argentina at the River Plate Stadium for the Quilmes Rock Festival, and 1 show at the Brazilian Rock in Rio which Maiden headlined for the climax of the Brave New World Tour.

The Quilmes Rock Festival will be take place at the National Football Stadium of Argentina & River Plate, and on the auxiliary field (training field) for the National Bands.

Other bands that could be on the festival are GunsnRoses, AC/DC and Depeche Mode.
