Maiden to play UK Festival in 2007
According to Bruce himself at the Newcastle gig on Sunday, Maiden plan to "take 150,000 fans to a muddy field in the middle of England" next year. I didn't hear him say where but Donnington is the obvious choice but whether it would be part of the Download festival or not remains to be seen. Bruce did seem to imply that it would be a Maiden gig and not part of another festival.5 Comments

I was at the Manchester gig last Thursday and Bruce mentioned something about "playing maiden classics in a muddy field next summer". Hope they bring back Paschendale and Dance Of Death cos they were immense live!
In Cardiff, he said "see you in a field in the summer".
If it's Donington, 150,000 seems a bit much, as the maximum capacity was cut to 72,500 after the tragic events of 1988.
I reckon it may be part 2 of their "Early Days" stuff, and that the set will feature stuff from Powerslave to Fear Of The Dark.
