My Chemical Romance And Iron Maiden Lead Metal Awards

Goth rockers My Chemical Romance and heavy metal legends Iron Maiden lead the nominations for this year's Metal Hammer Awards teenmusic.com reports.

The fifth annual Metal Hammer Golden Gods sees Iron Maiden's A Matter of Life and Death battling My Chemical Romance's The Black Parade for best album.

Iron Maiden are also up for Best UK Band, while My Chemical Romance's second nomination is for Best Video - for Welcome to the Black Parade.
