Press Reports on Desert Rock Festival
The Emirates Evening Post has posted an article on the Desert Rock Festival in Dubai, where Maiden played two nights ago. What follows is the part dealing with Maiden's performance.
*The evening, of course, reached its climax when heavy metal giants Iron Maiden took the stage. In what can be best described as a headbanger’s ball, the show also featured their mascot Eddie as a gun-toting soldier and an enormous army tank on stage. “We tried to get the biggest tank we could, but the next time we’re going to get a pyramid on stage,” said lead vocalist Bruce Dickinson to screaming fans.*
