Iron Maiden front-man Bruce’s special guests on Saturday 21st April are The Academy Is... You can listen to Bruce’s weekly BBC 6 Music rock show live via the internet between 9:00pm to Midnight UK Time (between 3:00pm and 6:00pm EST) (plus online or on DAB) http://www.bbc.co.uk/6music/shows/bruce_dickinson.Since they formed in 2002 this indie-emo group have paved their way with lightening speed. So impressed was he by their self-titled debut EP release, that Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz convinced his label, Fueled by Ramen to fly out and see them. Subsequently they were signed up and recently The Academy Is…did a cameo appearance in FOB’s music video as vampires, performing alongside members Panic! at the Disco and Gym Class Heroes.
Currently touring around the UK, Europe and US the guys pop into the studio to tell Bruce all about it, and about their new album Santi which is out this month.
