According to the Italian blog Musica Metal, Iron Maiden played a "red-hot" show in Rome, Italy last night (Wednesday, June 20) at the city's football stadium, the Stadio Olimpico. "The sight was incredible, with all open areas filled to capacity, and after performances by Motörhead, Mastodon, Machine Head and Lauren Harris, the band took the stage and played through their current 'A Matter Of The Beast' tour setlist. The crowd responded with soccer-like chants and choruses." Check out video footage to see how fans reacted to the band's introduction and to the announcement that Maiden will come back to Italy next year with their "Early Days Part 2" tour and classic songs like "Powerslave", "Rime of the Ancient Mariner" and "Seventh Son of a Seventh Son".
