Clive Burr to Attend Clive Aid Quiz Night
Lots of Clive Aid news recently, but here's the latest from Blabbermouth.net:"According to a posting on the Iron Maiden fan site MaidenNorway.com, former Iron Maiden drummer Clive Burr will attend the first Cliveaid quiz night this Thursday, April 10 at The Rose & Crown, Woodford Green, Essex, UK. There will be loads of prizes to be won for all Maiden fans.
Cliveaid is the organization which was set up in 2004 as a fund-raising event for Clive Burr.
Burr is suffering from multiple sclerosis — a disease of unknown cause. The disorder is causing him intermittent numbness and can affect his balance. At present there is no known cure for MS, although he is helping test new drugs in the hope that his body response may contribute to a cure."
