It's a Slow News Day...

… so we’ll give you a fascinating story from Yahoo News:

“Take That have been voted Britain’s dream Eurovision entry.

The Rule The World singers beat Girls Aloud into second place and Leona Lewis into third to clinch the top spot in the BT Eurovictory poll.

Amy Winehouse was fourth, coming before Peter Kay, Will Young and Lily Allen.

Iron Maiden came in eighth place, ahead of the Welsh pair of Duffy in ninth and Tom Jones in tenth place.

Jade Ewen competes in Russia this weekend in the real Eurovision Song Contest, and former winner Katrina from Katrina And The Waves said: “We’ve got a great entry this year, so we’ve got every chance of winning.”

She added: “The reintroduction of juries for 50 per cent of the vote should work in our favour - if every UK family called just one person in Europe and persuaded them to vote for the UK that would absolutely seal the deal.” “
