Maiden Return to Ottawa
The official site reports:"After an 18 year absence, Iron Maiden are delighted to be returning to Canada's capital city on July 6th to play at the world-famous Cisco Ottawa Bluesfest. The last time Maiden played in Ottawa was during the Fear Of The Dark Tour in 1992 so are well overdue a return visit! The prestigious Bluesfest is ranked by Billboard Magazine as one of the top-10 Festivals in the world, so what better way to kickstart proceedings than by having Iron Maiden headline the opening night!
Beginning on Tuesday July 6 through Sunday July 11 and recommencing Tuesday July 13 running through to Sunday July 18, Cisco Ottawa Bluesfest will be presenting a wide and varied programme of more than 2,000 of the best Blues, R&B, Soul, Gospel, Pop, World and Rock musicians in the world.
The Festival takes place at LeBreton Flats Park in the heart of downtown Ottawa at a beautifully spacious riverside location.
