Today Online has posted an interview with Janick Gers, in which he discusses the current tour, life in general and the future of Iron Maiden.

**Hi there! How’s the start of the tour coming along? ** Well, we’re in Moscow and it’s about 12 and 15 below. I went out into Red Square to take photographs and my hands just froze solid. I couldn’t stay out so I came back in. We flew in on Ed Force One, we’ve brought all the gear with us, this is the beginning of the world tour, which is going to take in Singapore, Jakarta, Bali, Australia, Tokyo and then South America, er, pretty much all over the place, including Korea, Colombia, Mexico, and we finish in America in April and then take a couple of weeks off and then set off for Europe. It’s the beginning of a very long tour really. Once we do the Moscow show, we’ll be heading straight over to you. Going from freezing cold to red hot. (...) **Do you think you’ll be working on new music on this tour and recording too?** Well, we came out with the album at the end of the last tour, and this tour is meant for that album – although it’s slightly later than we planned. We finish in August, then we’ll take a break and put some new music together, so it’ll be the year after next I think!
