Simon Dawson is a drummer from Suffolk, England. He first began working with Steve Harris in 2012 and has since recorded and toured extensively as a member of British Lion.

Iron Maiden announced Dawson as their touring drummer in December 2024, following Nicko McBrain's decision to step back from touring. He joined the band on the 2025–26 Run For Your Lives World Tour.

With British Lion, Dawson appeared on three tracks from the band's first album and played throughout the second album, The Burning.
