The Royal Mint unveils an Iron Maiden anniversary coin
Eddie has joined the Royal Mint's Music Legends series on a coin marking Iron Maiden's 50th anniversary. The Mint's 8 July announcement credits the design to Albert “Akirant” Quirantes, who incorporated references to the band's albums and tours. The range includes brilliant uncirculated coins and precious-metal proof editions, with prices starting at £18.50. The Mint says the band helped develop the design.
